On February 24th, Russian military and government invaded the country of Ukraine in attempts to occupy the country. Ukrainian citizens are fleeing and fighting for their lives.
This first week of Lent is ridden with much sorrow and pain across the world for our brothers and sisters in Ukraine. We have prayed as a family and have chosen to run a donation drive for fund to support Ukrainian refugee support in Poland. We have chosen to work with Caritas Polska, a Catholic non-profit organization in Warsaw. They are currently housing, feeding, and providing mental and physical support for refugees from Ukraine.
